The Last of Eden - A valley with scattered hamlets

The Last of Eden -
A valley with scattered hamlets at Tensa - a hill station at Bonai, Sundargarh, Odisha. The greenery has deposits of Iron ore. What one sees in the picture is the last packets of landscape that are not still touched for mining. Earth is Green here and Red there within a distance of 1 kilometre - a future of the state that will look like puranic hell. #miningparadise #developments #vikashitodisha

Last sight, first flight
Last year, a Red-whiskered Bulbul couple chose my potted Ficus moclame in the backyard as their home for a few months. Our days became brighter with their calls, chirps, and playful energy. We quietly watched only from the window, careful not to disturb them.

On the final day, everything felt alive- constant fluttering, calling, and gentle coaxing as the parents encouraged the little ones to leave the nest. Sad, beautiful, and deeply satisfying… watching them take their first successful flight, leaving behind happy tears and memories I’ll never forget. #rediscovernature
