Happiness and Contentment is different as “Growth” Happiness and Contentment is different
as “Growth” and Desperation-
that greedy hearts won’t recognise and
degenerate minds can’t comprehend.

The Last of Eden - A valley with scattered hamlets The Last of Eden -
A valley with scattered hamlets at Tensa - a hill station at Bonai, Sundargarh, Odisha. The greenery has deposits of Iron ore. What one sees in the picture is the last packets of landscape that are not still touched for mining. Earth is Green here and Red there within a distance of 1 kilometre - a future of the state that will look like puranic hell. #miningparadise #developments #vikashitodisha

With each passing year, the tribal landscape of Od With each passing year, the tribal landscape of Odisha is changing - which is called - progressing, developing.

‘To be or not to be’ is no more in their mind. They have passed that existential crisis phase. Now, many of them are in the ‘mainstream’, just like us - the so called ’modern man’.

The man of the soil is dead.

Came across these beautiful colourful grasses at R Came across these beautiful colourful grasses at Rajnagar in a mangrove habitat. Came to know that these are called Salt Marsh Grass. 🌊🦀🍀

A salt marsh is a type of coastal wetland found along the edges of shorelines where saltwater from the ocean mixes with freshwater from rivers or streams. These marshes are covered with grasses and small plants that can survive in salty, muddy conditions. While they might look like simple patches of soggy land, salt marshes are actually teeming with life and play a powerful role in supporting biodiversity.

Salt marshes act like nature’s nursery, providing a safe space for young fish, crabs, and shrimp to grow before heading out to deeper waters. Birds flock to these areas for food, feeding on the rich variety of insects, shellfish, and small creatures that live in the mud and water. Even larger animals, like raccoons and foxes, visit salt marshes to hunt or find shelter.

These wetlands also help keep the environment healthy. They trap pollutants from the water, protect coastlines from storms and erosion, and absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. In short, salt marshes are not just muddy fields—they are vital, living ecosystems that support a wide web of life and help maintain the balance of nature.

Aren’t they Nature’s hidden gem! 🌿✨ - the coastal superheroes!
